Hi, travelling to Mal Pais/St. Teresa - anyone know of the best hotel that is ON the beach? thanks everyone!
I guess it comes down to how much you want to spend and if you want to be right on the beach. Casa Chameleon is not right on the beach, but is a great place and in high demand, so you must book well in advance of your stay.
or www.peninsuladenicoya.com you will find a number of beach hotels and price ranges.
Hey Volcanogirl! I can recommend staying for as many days as you can afford to!
It's a beautiful place and the service is extraordinary! The price is high, but you get what you pay for!
Wefish, it does look great. It's been on my to-do list for a long time. What are your favorite things to do in the area? Did you guys eat most of your meals there or go into restaurants? It all looks really spectacular!
Florblanca...Hands down. I can't believe no one else is suggesting it. Amazing property by anyones standards. Also about 400-500 a night.
I have to suggest the Red Palm Villas. They are right on the beach and very private. The Red Palm Villas are about a 5 minute walk from Flora Blanca. Both are right on the beach and are probably hands down the nicest places on the beach.
Red Palms is right by suck rock, which is a local attraction. It was a very wide open, empty beach experience. Growing up in Florida, right on the beach means just that to me!
The difference between Red Palms and Flora Blanca is spelt out very well in the reviews on Trip Advisor.
