Day trips from Mal Pais - ATV

We will be staying in Mal Pais March 26 - April 6 and will have an ATV for the duration of our trip. We would like to explore the area and could use some recommendations. We do a lot of riding (motorcycle) so a longer ATV ride isn't an issue. Any ideas? Planning on heading to the waterfalls in Montezuma but that's all I've come up with so far. Thanks for your help!

Check out the maps of the area on this site....

www.nicoyapeninsula.com

There are plenty of things to see and explore if you follow any of the roads in the area....a day trip to Montezuma via the Mal Pais to Cabuya road...or north to Manzanillo are a couple of suggestions.

The beach communities here have been asking everyone keep to the suggested speed limit of 25 KPH (17 MPH) and not raise the dust as you sightsee in the area, you will see a lot more and enjoy the day trip. You will be here at the very driest part of the season and the dust the Quads leave in their wake is unhealthy for everyone, please be respectful Quad Tourists!
