surfing for beginner

Hi there, I'm planning to ho to mal paisin beginning of June. Im wondering hpw is the weather and also surfing conditions - I want to take surfing lessons and I have never surf before, is it a good place for unexperienced person to learn or would you recommended to go somewhere else.

Santa Teresa is the area where the surfing happens and it is for every level of surfer.

There are many instructors and surf schools to choose from.

The weather in June is usually rainy in the late afternoon and evenings.

Well next to Malpais is Santa Teresa, this place is one of the favorites in Costa Rica to surfing. They have pros who can teach you and the waves are not to agresive.
