Easter

Hola,

We will be in the Dominical area at villas rio mar Saturday through Monday over Easter. Can anyone tell me what will be open/closed?

restaurants, sodas, bars, etc? we were hoping to take a Sierpe River day trip, maybe a trip out to Cano Island or possibly a Don Lulu trip to the falls.

Also, we will be in MA at tulemar for most of the week beforehand, will good friday have anything closed?

gracias

1. Re: Easter

We were there last year over the same weekend. All the restaurants, tours and parks/beaches were open but cannot serve alcohol until Easter Sunday. Some local places do anyway but they face fines, so it's hit or miss.

Also did the Cano Island and Don Lulo tours. Loved the waterfall/horse trip and the food was great. And it gets you back in town early enough to hit the beach for a few hours before sunset. The Cano Island trip was nice, but a very long day with lots of time on the bus and boat getting there.

Have fun....it's a great area to visit.

How far in advance do they not serve alcohol. I will be in Costa Rica the whole week before?
