We do have jelly fish but isn´t commom to find somebody hurt by one. We have what locals call Hilo de Oro which is little a small jelly fish the hurts a little. For precaucion if you want you can buy a small bottle of Vinager at the Supermarket to have it with you just in case of anything.

Vinegar is great for jelly fish stings. Just make sure to NOT use water on the sting before you use Vinegar, heat and or pee. Vinegar really is the best though. Over the years I have had my share of stings and they really aren't bad. Often our kids don't even realize it until later. It only hurts if you use fresh water on the sting and then release the poison more.

They are not common for that time of year, and as mentioned a little vinegar or windex takes the minor sting out should there be an off season arrival of the little pests! Enjoy!
