MA Condo, Villa or Bungalow for 3 people in June.

My husband, 17 year old daughter and I are planning a trip to MA this June. We are looking for a place to spend about a week. I have seen a few places on VRBO and looked at a Bugalow at the Hotel Costa Verde (not sure about this place). Would like the ability to cook a little, access to a pool and keep the budget around $150 - 200 / night. We will be renting a car. Any comments or recommendations would be great!

You can look at places like

Villas Mymosa

Casitas Eclipse

And aside from VRBO which you have already mentioned and Homeaway you can check the Vacation Rentals here on Tripadvisor/Flipkey

LaPosada has a Villa and a Casa that have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and I know fhe Casa has an awesome kitchen. They would be in your budget and it is an incredible place to stay.

For what you describe, I say go with a house rental. Vrbo has great options and you will usually get a property manager that will help you take care of all the details both before and during your visit. If you decide on a hotel, then Tulemar, Villas Nicolas, Verde Mar have kitchenettes, or the Falls, Byblos, Costa Verde and Mango Moon are all good options to walk to restaurants, etc. just depends on finding it within your budget. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the suggestions. We are taking LivNLarge's advice and have booked a house rental, Casa Blue Wind. We rented it as a 2 bedroom, utilizing just the upper level, but it can also be rented as a 4 bedroom with both upper and lower floors. There is a great review I just read in the Quepos forum, right after we reserved it! Can't wait for our trip, but still may have more questions in the future.

This year I stayed at Jungle Creek. They had very good rates despite being a bit away from the top of the hill.
