Affordable but nice place to stay in Osa Peninsula?

Planning my honeymoon for sometime in late Nov - early Jan.

Would love to stay in Osa, but it looks like most places are around $300/night at least, for a couple?

Any advice? We would love to stay here, but it seems to expensive for a decent place. We don't want anything hostel-like. Thanks for the advice!

Encanta-have seen more monkeys and animals there than touring Corcovado no jags or tapirs though

great food-good staff- nice walking-good surf swimming tough in ocean but cool pool with bar

others all per person rates so over $300.

DrakeBay area- Pirate Cove Hotel -Las Caletas Both on small side but so very nice. Great Staff at Pirate Cove -Great Food-Clean - No Bar- good beach and terrific beach walking can easily walk to town- Las Caletas-bar-nice hilltop cabin clean- good food great beach path so animals and monkeys are there-just have to look- great beach hiking and can do numerous tours if you want. nice small town great locals

Never been to CR. Visited Puerto Vallarta three times in late September. Loved the sunny days and daily evening short but heavy storms every evening which made the canopy stunning green compared to going in March-May where all was brown, little green. Not sure what it will be like 2nd week September in CR. Had the choice of any cabin when we booked. Wanted Pacific view. Only three using Miramar so I think we're good on space, lol.
