Full or half day fishing

We will be in Manuel Antonio in August and are trying to decide between a full or half day offshore trip. How long does it take get to the offshore fishing areas? Would it be silly to just book a half day and get there and just turn around? Helppppppp.

the run to the blue water is about 1 hour ,

all depends on what you are after , half day is normally inshore , and a full day is off shore , I would go for the full day and grab a sail or a marlin ¡

We did a half day and it was fine- you get about 2 hours of fishing in- I would recommend 3/4 day if they let you (6 hours).

Quepos is a fishing hotspot so it does not take long to hook a sailfish... if your a casual fisher you don't really need a full day; however, if fishing is a passion you should invest in a full day

Either way you will catch plenty of fish
