Where do you recommend?

where do you recommend that we stay (just two friends)? We love to swim/snorkel and relax and eat good fresh foods. Would you recommend Samade Beach on Aitutaki? Would we enjoy Etu Moana more? Are the beach and the snorkeling facilities AND food, better at one or the other?

We were going to go to Bora Bora, but were very discouraged about the elevated prices for the last two weeks in July (our planned dates). Should we go with a travel agent, or attempt to book it (and our flights)on our own?

Thank you in advance for your excellent advice.

11. Re: Where do you recommend?

hey all set:

NO ten nights is not too much! I don't think I've ever gotten tired of being in Aitutaki...it is a VERY quiet place though...as long as you don't need alot of night life and busy stuff...just relax and enjoy...plus you'll get to really meet alot of people...pop over to Samade for sure for a great island night show and a fantastic lagoon view....

Weather in July is winter in the cook islands..ie: NO RAIN! It tends to be warmer in Aituaki by about 8 degrees...so about 80 degrees is the norm...simply fabulous! Not as humid either....it's a great time to go.

sunny regards,
