which hotel is better?

We have stayed at a beach-front room at Manuia Beach hotel but are considering staying at the Palm Grove in a beach-front bungalow.

We want to stay at a small property that has a restaurant/bar and a pool.

We really liked the Manuia Beach but thought it would be nice to try another property in another part of the island.

How do these properties compare?

Hi again Robbie,

Palm Grove in Vaimaanga straddles a beachfront area as well as its larger inland location where the restaurant/bar and pool are located. The lagoon is lovely in this locality, with far less coral within a larger and more tranquil marine area compared to Manuia. It's not an adults-only stay though, with guests including families who occupy the inland units (onsite) and nearby bungalows that are managed by PG. It would be a 5 minute stroll to 2 other restaurants and the cafe in Vaimaanga. About 10 minutes stroll to Salt-water cafe in Turoa.

As to which is better, only you can make that decision. Manuia Beach is lovely with its adults-only policy, gentle rhythm, and stunning lagoon outlook from the horizon pool and Beaches licenced restaurant. Yet its wonderful to experience another part of the island and being able to explore some different activities.

Good luck with your planning.
