"Extra money"? $159 per night is on the low side of average for a room at a B&B in Juneau. The smallest room is SMALL, but very clean and comfortable.

Lodging in town is hard to come by this time of year. If you've got transportation in and out of downtown, you might also try the Alaska Wolf House, or... if it's just a bed and a place to sleep, the Extended Stay Suites out by the airport, or Grandma's Featherbed... so many great places to stay.

If you don't have transportation, you'll love the hike up the hill to 5th street! ;-)
