Easy hikes and recommendations on Kenai peninsula

We are going to rent a car in Anchorage to drive around the Kenai peninsula for a week in mid September (after a week staying in Denali with friends). I am young (mid-20s) but have back problems that make it very difficult to do any hikes that involve much climbing. Do any of you helpful people have some recommendations for scenic hikes that aren't too difficult? I have heard Exit Glacier is easily accessible. Biking and camping are not really options. Also any other recommendations of great things to see or do during that week for a couple of budget conscious students? We would be willing to splurge once or twice for a memorable experience. We are very flexible but definitely plan to do a day boat tour of Kenai Fjords out of Seward. Homer also looks like a nice. We would like to see Salmon runs if they are still going, too. Thanks!

The hike out to Gull Rock from the town of Hope is relatively flat on a developed trail. Even if you just do the hike to Halfway Rock the views of Turngain Arm are beautiful. The hike to Byron Glacier is also very easy, though not on the Kenai Peninsula it is on your way. Check out Lowell Point while in Seward it is a great place for a picnic lunch or just some beach combing. Homer is a also a nice place for beach walking.

spacefry made a great recommendation of Gull Rock Trail- easy & about as level as you can get for Alaska.

Another easy trail on the way down to the Kenai is the Turnagain Trail accessed from McHugh picnic area just south of Anchorage. Going south you have to cross the highway with caution. It is easier to turn into McHugh going north. The trail is once again relatively level, very easy with views along the Turnagain Arm. There is a little waterfall at McHugh & nice picnic spots with tables.
