Transfers from Antalya airport to Cirali with small children

Hi

I am travelling with my husband and three small children (ages 6, 4 and 1) in July. We arrive in Kayseri in the afternoon and want to get to Cirali. We are not travelling with car seats. What is the best way to do the transfer - on a bus or with a private transfer service. There are 5 of us so we won't fit in a taxi unless the baby travels on my lap. What are the transfer options most suited to small children and which service would you recommend.

Any advice much appreciated - many thanks

Jemma

Hi Jemma,

If you take the bus most likely you will have to have your baby on your lap and none of the public buses will have any car seats or seat belts for that matter. ıf you sit your children on your lap do beleive there is no charge however if they occupy a seat you will pay the same amount as a adult passenger.

First you make your way to the Antalya bus station from the airport.

To get from the Antalya airport to the Antalya bus station if you have a daytime flight ( not a night arriving flight );

OPTİON 1. either taking a taxi ( 50 liras perhaps – 30 minutes )

OPTION 2. Havas bus shuttle ( about 10 liras each 30-40 minutes ) to the antalya bus station

www.havas.net/en/shuttle-parking/antalya/

OPTION 3. the D-600 airport bus to the bus station ( 45-60 minutes ) cost is around 4 liras each

For Bus Service to Cirali - From Antalya you can take “ Bati Antalya “, "Antalya tur", "Cicek tour" or " Kumluca Seyhat" FROM THE Antalya BUS STATION ( otogar )

Cost is about 12.00 TL ( turkish liras ) per person ( even children ) and run from 6am until 8pm about every 1/2 hour. Make sure you tell the driver to drop you off at the Cirali ( CHIR-ALI ) junction and NOT the Olympos junction.

Once you are at the Cirali junction there should be no problem to get the mini-bus service to the village center about 7 kms. Cost of mini-bus is around 6-7 TL per person. You may have to wait a little bit for more passengers to arrive to take this mini-bus ( dolmus ). They will not go into the village unless there are at least 4 or more passengers

Your alternative is to book a private transfer that will pick you up at the antalya airport upon the arrival of your flight..contact your hotel and they can arrange for you. also mention that you want car seats for the children.

depending on your dates of travel this would be the most efficient and quickest way to get from the airport to Cirali espeically with having 3 young children. If you are travelling in the summer months it will be hot especially in Antalya..and you will have to change 3 buses compared to a private air-conditioned transfer

hope this helps,

Carrie
