Dalyan qu's....

Does anyone know how far it is to the beach? Also, does Dalyan have a good selection of restaurants and bars? We're looking at the Patio Hotel, is that central?

Hello,

İn Dalyan you cannot walk to the beach. The beach is away from the center, the delta of the river is between the two. You can either take a boat to the beach, the boat follows down the river that flows through Dalyan, or you need to drive to İztuzu beach, then you end up at the other end of the beach as where the river is.

There are a few nice restaurants, my favorite is Saki.

Cheers!

The Patio Hotel is in a great location, close to town and the river.

The co-operative boats charge 10TL return to the beach, they are very frequent and it takes about 20 minutes or so.Its a very relaxing way to go to the beach as the river is lovely. You can also catch the Dolmus, this is very scenic as well and is a little cheaper than going by boat.

Hi,

The boat trip to the beach takes about 35mins and goes past the cliff tombs and thru the reed beds. the bus takes about 20mins to the other end of the five K beach. Both ends of the beach have free clean changing rooms and toilets...also council run cafe's with very reasonable prices. Sun beds for small charge.

There are about 220 restaurants and bars in Dalyan... so plenty of choice.

Cheers, Mx.

The Binlik is a 6-8 minute walk from the boats, about the same to the dolmus station :-)
