Must-do / Must-see in Bora Bora??

We've just finalized plans for a trip to Bora Bora in two weeks.

We will be staying at the Four Seasons for a week with our 3-year-old. Looking to relax & explore.

We've read just about everything here on TA as far as reviews, but I'm wondering what you Bora Bora vets would suggest as the things we'd absolutely have to do while there to fully soak in the experience.

So, whatcha got for us?

Thanks in advance ... can't wait to get there!

All day tour that includes: feeding rays and swimming with sharks in the lagoon, Snorkel the coral garden, go outside the lagoon to swim with sharks, Lunch on a private beach with traditional Tahitian food.

We loved the beginner scuba as well. It was very cool to be under water with sharks and rays and coral.

Moana Adventure Tours (www.moanatours.com) also offers a really fabulous selection of tours. We've done private tours with them the last two times we were in Bora Bora. It was around $400 USD for a private shark/stingray feeding tour that included a stop at the coral gardens behind the Sofitel Motu. Especially if you are traveling with a three year-old, private tours are nice, as you can move at your own pace. This last trip, we also did the reef tour with Christophe (http://www.reefdiscovery.pf/us/contact.html) that folks rave about on here-- very, very nice and the guide is stupendous. It's not private (although I suppose you could pay to make it so), but limited to something like 6-8 persons.

You may want to go and see the turtle sanctuary at the LeMeridien.

There is a cost of CFP2000 that goes towards the expense of the turtle care.

It's also not inexpensive to take a taxi to the LeMeridien. CFP 15500 flat rate round trip. Just a thought for a nice outing with a three year old . You can also have lunch there.
