Bullhead/Laughlin Accomodations

Need advice....We are visiting relatives in Bullhead City. I made reservations at Best Western, based on recommendations the pretty decent recommendations on Tripadvisor, All of the casinos in Laughlin are not getting very good reviews. So my sister in law, who lives in Bullhead, went to the Best Western and said it was very run down. She said there were a lot of rental "residents", and it smelled musty and old. Are there 2 Best Westerns? What is your opinion???

I would stay across the river in Laughlin.

I have stayed at just about every casino hotel there except Harrahs for some odd reason. Some are better than others.Nice to get a higher floor room facing the river.

Its not a long trip to BHC over the bridge.

I stayed in Harrah's in Laughlin last summer and it was good, and it is cheap.

We stayed at another motel in Bullhead and that was fine for us right along the river but it's also basic. In Laughlin I recommend Golden Nugget. Not a high rise building and they have rooms facing the river (not all rooms have that). There's also a small ferry between Bullhead and Laughlin.

Aquarius in Laughlin. Many of the others are showing their age.

Yes many of the motels in Bullhead are scuzzy. No reason to stay there except just to be closer.

Traffic on Laughlin bridge into Bullhead can be busy. The 93 (main drag) is also always busy full of snowbirds. Take the parkway whenever possible.

Think the previous poster means az95 through Bullhead. And yes, better take the Parkway and avoid most trafficlights.
