What to do in couple days in Port Elizabeth area?

We're coming to South Africa TOMORROW and are just finalizing our Garden Route itinerary.

1 night in Hermanus

3 nights in Knysna

Then we have 2 more nights to play with before a 3pm flight from Port Eliz to Joberg to hit Kruger.

We will have a hire car of course. Looks like a 3 hour drive from Knysna and longer if we stop at Jeffrey's Bay for a bit, meaning we'd get to Port Eliz in the late afternoon or evening, leaving just the one full day. I know Addo is mentioned a lot and is something we'd definitely look into, although we are hoping to keep costs down with in Elephant Plains/Shindzela later in the trip. We could of course do 1 night in Oudtshoorn or somewhere else along the Garden Route, and just the one night in PE area.

Let me know what you recommend! Thanks

Can I just again thank Brett from Safaris For Me for all his help in arranging the Kruger part of the trip - I know he posts on here so I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to plan a South Africa trip!

You can certainly keep the costs down and go to Addo which is R200 per person.

It has increased considerably recently but is great value and is still less than the entrance fee to Dudley Zoo !!

If you get chance visit one of the restaurants in Richmond Hill, excellent and 1/2 the price of Cape Town
