That is cutting it close as you'll need to go from domestic arrival to international departure and should theoretically check in 2hours in advance if international flight. We've done 1hour check in but if you still have to collect lugage and get to international check in I think you may not make it.

I wouldn't try it. Certain days, SAA has a 740AM flight from Nelspruit to Johannesburg. That would give you enough time. If you are coming from a lodge within Sabi Sand, you would need to be on the road from the lodge before 500AM and drive out the gate when it opens. Where will you be the night before?

We will be staying at casa marcello, i think thats central nelspruit.unfortunately we booked the 8:40 flight(SAA) and were debating wether if we can make it to the 11am BA flight.if we dont have checked in luggage will we make it to this flight?will this be a long distance to walk from domestic arrival to international departure to Vic Falls.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

You come out of Domestic Arrivals on the ground floor.. Though the description of the terminals suggest they are separate - they are actually all one big complex and you walk from Domestic to International without any sense of 'changing' from one to the other. But - since you will be flying on British Airways.. which, in southern Africa is actually ComAir.. I think you need to check on something with them, and here's their email contact: cr@comair.co.za Why?

Because there was a period when that flight to Victoria Falls departed from their Domestic gates. Which would be right over your head on Level 2 in the Domestic Terminal. See what they say.. If so, just take the moving beltways (on your left as you emerge from Baggage Claim) up to Level 2.

If they are using International Departures on Level 1 for their flight to Vic Falls, then from Baggage Claim,

take the first elevator or escalator you reach up to Level 1 and continue moving away from the Domestic area. In a couple of minutes, you will reach the check-in counters for International flights. These are in one huge room to your right (as you pass by the cafes on the left). Whew.. sounds confusing, but it's really quite simple, and quick.
