However My husband received a super offer from his firm for excelling himself workwise with others to do a six day safari to Madikwe departing the 15 May from Heathrow with Emirates but coming back 8 pm flight from Johannesburg to Heathrow.
We intend flying to Mombasa on our own.
What I would like to know as they are using domestic flights to go to Madikwe we will have to travel back with them on these domestic flights back to Johannesburgh - their flight is 8pm with Emirates but we would make our own way to Kenya arriving on the 20 May which we were doing anyway from Gatwick.
Do any flights go direct to Mombasa - I CHECKED kENYA AIRWAYS BUT THEY GO VIA NAIROBI AND THEN DOMESTIC FLIGHT FROM WILSON TO MOI MOMBASA AND THE ONLY FLIGHT WE CAN TAKE IS THE 00.40 AM which means we will be in the airport for around 8 hours.):
Is there a private lounge that we can book into for this duration or would there be an airport hotel for a room for these hours in the airport or near the airport?.
Also we have a visa from the UK to Mombasa but do we need a visa from South Africa to get into Kenya?
Sorry for all these questions but this has just been sprung upon us and we don't want to miss the chance of a lifetime!!
Thanks in advance.
