Durban to Kruger National Park

We are going to South Africa for about 3 weeks in March. We already booked 5 nights in Bo Kaap, Capetown. We plan to visit friends for about 10 days outside of Durban. They will show us Durban and take us to uMkhuze Game Reserve and St. Lucia. We would like to know if it's easy to get to Kruger from Durban and if we can see enough staying two or three nights there. What are the means of getting there? Our other option

is to extend our stay for a few days in Capetown before coming to Durban.

You can travel Kruger to Durban two ways, the most popular being through swaziland and a stay over in Swaziland (not necessary). the other option is to stay in Sa and travel to Piet Retief and down to Hluhluwe area.

check out google maps.
