Driving from Kruger

Hello all

We are planning a trip in Dec / Jan to SA and intend to visit St Lucia , Tembe Elephant Park then on to Kruger.

Has anyone driven from Tembe to Kruger via Swaziiland ? Or can anyone recommend a route ?

We will be in a rental car - but not a 4WD

Thanks in advance for any info

I've just driven from Nelspruit to St Lucia. I was very fortunate to get advice from a senior forestry official re best route re traffic, road condition, scenery etc. It went very well. Takes 5.5 hrs including a couple of short stops. We used a VW polo sedan. Am bit weary and will post details re route tomorrow. It does not include travelling through Swaziland.

We exited through Crocodile Bridge last year and drove south through Swaziland (Mananga border post) to northern KZN (Golela Border post) no need for a 4x4 and VW Polo is our hire car of choice. Roads fine down through Simunye and Big Bend. Border crossings were quick and easy.
