Booking trips...now or on arrival

We want to do the "must-do" trips when we go to Cape Town in December, but with limited time, is it best to book now or when we arrive. We want to do Table Mountain,Winelands and a township tour, only have 2/3 days before the test match..

Hello jonesy95

I would book ahead because of your time constraints.

Table Mountain is weather dependent but is open later in the evenings, if there are no strong winds. So it is possible to do it in the early evening as well. December is particularly busy.

You can do your bookings but pay on the day you do the tours. This save syou the hassle of refunds if the table mountain is closed etc.

I would however book on arrival. This way you will have time to shop around with prices. You will not be forced in taking what thwe hotel or guest house tells you. You can find cheaper more flexible options
