Short Stay in Cape Town

We have four days in CT after a conference in Mid March 2010. City sightseeing, Hermanus, Overberg and Winelands Tours are already included in the conference itinerary, as are the cheetahs in Spier. During the remaining days we would like to see more animals (safari?) and countryside. I can't walk for long distances or uphill and can't stand long in one spot, which limits choices. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

You could drive on from the Winelands to the huge game reserve, Sanbona - just past Montagu. 2 nights there would likely fulfill your interests in wildlife. It is wild country, indeed. A beautiful expanse of high desert.

Dave, Thank you for that tip - I've contacted Sanbona and booked! I've also had a look at Kruger, but it's all a bit too hard from CT. So I'm VERY happy!

Thanks again.

I just visited most of the Game Reserves in the Western Cape and Sanbona is the best. Enjoy
