We stayed at 23 Loader Street in De Waterkant Village, the house rented from DeWaterkant Cottages, from the moment the driver ( booked thro them) picked us up at the airport to getting into the house early, as no one was in the previous night I cannot praise them enough. No detail was too small, their efficiency and local knowledge made our trip excellent.
The house was spotless wonderfully equipped, and the location could not have been better with a roof top view of Table mountain and down to the waterfront. NO worries about security-even walking around the area at night. Local restaurant suggestions ( guided by Tobin and Richard) within walking distance, of the house were fab , especially Andiamo, such good food and the price!
We booked a daytrip around the cape penisula with Mark September, a great guide who drove us in his minibus. His knowledge helped us get the most of our trip. We booked him over the net- all went to plan- collecting us fron the house at 8.00am, and not back intil 5.30.We had a relaxed day and learnt lots- we saw lots of wildlife, birds, great views and Mark gave us lots of local history/geology etc..
When we return we will defiantly stay in De Waterkant, and hire Mark for another trip.
