Cape town itinerary

My husband and I will be in Capetown for 2 and 1/2 days and would like some feedback.

We definitely want to see Stellenbosch/Franschoek winelands as well as Cape Point/Boulder's Beach along the HoutBay route.

Are 2 separate days needed for both these places? We definitely do not want to be rushed doing either.

If the weather agrees, we plan on doing tabletop mountain as well. Is this doable as a half day activity?

Thank you!

I would do two seperate days for the winelands and cape point. Table Mountain is easily doable in half a day but try to do this as soon as it is open and clear as the weather is very unpredictable.

You can do Table Mountain on the half day that you have free providing its not windy.

You definitely need 1 day for Stellenbosch and Franschoek and 1 day for Boulders Beach and Hout Bay, Cape Point and you will need to start out very early for that Cape Point Hout bay Boulders as its a long way.

Today we went to Kalk Bay (which you could do on the way back from Boulders ). They have been working on the road between Muizemberg and Kalk Bay for YEARS now and another YEAR or 2 so we had to detour over Boyes Drive. It took about an hour to get over Boyes Drive ONLY. So hopefully your day wont be a saturday, a sunday or a public holiday otherwise it will take forever.
