Can anyone pls tell me if I am able to buy ground coffee beans around C.D or should I buy them at Legian whilst I am there?

Am thinking of putting a coffee machine in our Villa

Debbie, seems the small bag of coffee you needed from the local shop has turned into millions of kilo's with thousands more trees cut down to grow millions more kilo's of the coffee you need ... should I put the kettle on now ? (maybe a good strong cuppa tea may help) .... lol-lol-lol .... he he ....

So, with the info that herc supplied (which was interesting), maybe if you grab a bag of your fav from Coles or Wollies, you may be just bringing it back to where it started from ;-)

Regards, Geoff

p.s. I looked for the card from the coffee place in Jl Padma in Legian, but could not find it, but easy to find (as noted in my original post).

I found it hard to get Coffee beans in Bali, and if I did see them (in the supermarkets) they are the same price as in Australia!!!

How do I get cheap Coffee beans that are packaged to be able to take them home? is it not possible?

Just go to the markets.

Look for some roasted beans, either ground or not.

I have taken many kilos of coffee to AU when visiting there.

Never been labelled, and normally ground.

It has always been in clear plastic bags with the air excluded to make packing easier and to assist with maintaining freshness.

You must not try with unroasted beans though, they might be seen as 'viable' seeds.

If they have a green/yellow colour they are unroasted.

Mau kopi biasa, sudah digoreng.
