Visa

Could someone please be good enough to clear the subject of visa up for me. When I booked my holiday in January, Thomas Cook informed me that I would need to order an e-visa online for entry into Turkey. However I have since heard that you can still pay £10 to enter the country. Could you advise which is the correct and best method.

Thank you

Helen

1. Re: Visa

The visa on arrival now costs £20 but is only available until the end of this year

The cost of the E-visa is $20 and it is a very straightforward process to obtain one

This is the official site:

https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/

If you use any other site they will charge you a lot more

Thomas Cook keep giving out this information and it is wrong. Get your evisa in advance from the site mentioned above, otherwise it will cost you £20 at the airport. Thomas Cook should know this and it is wrong of them to tell people they can still pay £10 at the airport!
