Oludeniz nearby areas?

After much debate, we have decided to stay around Oludeniz but we fear that it may be too noisy, nothing wrong with having a good time but just like peace and quiet when we get back to the hotel

Does anyone know what the area above Oludeniz is called? Is this Hisaronu? Or Ovacik?

Do you get dolmus back and forth to late at night?

And finally does anyone have any suggestion for some budget accommodain for early September?

Thank you so much

The area above is Hirasanou. This is much bigger and livelier than Oludeniz. It is cheaper and noisier and you need to get a bus to the beach. The buses run until well into the evening. Oludeniz has a main strip of bars and restaurants and the hotels are arranged in the smaller streets off this so you will hear some noise from them until midnight and then a bit quieter until 1am. Some people still find this is too loud but the other option is to choose a place like Kalkan which is very quiet but pricier.

There are still some quiet hotels in Oludeniz and believe it or not they are in the centre front.

The Blue Star, Karbel Beach, Bronze, Oba, are some that come to mind.

In Hisaronu although there is a 'main drag', but again there are also some quiet hotels to be found.

Ovacik is quieter again- but some parts are reliant to travel by bus or taxi.

From both Hisaronu and Ovacik you would need to travel by bus/taxi to Oludeniz.

Quiet places near Olüdeniz are Faralya (high up the mountains), Kabak, even further away from civilisation or Kayaköy. Hisarönü is noisy and very touristy, Ovacık lost a lot of its charm as well.

Hope this helps, good luck!

We stayed at Perdkia Beach - again, central location, but nice and quiet - we slept like logs!
