What neighborhood to stay in

We will be on our honeymoon in BA the first week of April and are tyring to figure out which neighborhood to stay in. We are in our early 30's and would like a trendy area with lots of restaurants, cafe's, etc. Any suggestions would be great. We are considering the Tailor Made Hotel but i am wondering if that neighborhood offers what we want and if we would be better off in a more centralized area as it seems to be off in the corner.

The Tailor Made Hotel is in a great area, full of restaurants and cafes and night life. La Canitas is without a doubt one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

The only downside I can see is that this neighborhood is not as central as Recoleta or Palermo Soho...This said, cabs are plentiful in BA, which should not present a problem if and when you decide to explore.

Las Canitas would be a perfect area for you.. I'd liken it to Tribeca.. if that helps in your assessment of it.

Las Canitas is a great neighborhood. We visited there and really liked it. Stopped by the Tailor Made Hotel and thought it was very nice. Talked to 2 couples staying there about your age and they absolutely loved it and loved the area.

Happy Honeymoon!
