Palermo:which area in Palermo to stay for action?

Palermo, in Buenos Aires, encompasses many different boroughs such as: Bosques de Palermo, Palermo Chico, Palermo Viejo (Hollywood/Soho), and Verde. Can you suggest please which area to stay for one night? Close to shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

Thank you so much.

1. Re: Palermo:which area in Palermo to stay for action?

Palermo Viejo/Soho has the small boutique hotels , wonderful shopping and eating without even leaving the neighborhood.

Palermo Hollywood is more about the restaurants and bars.

Palermo Chico is away from those Palermos and more upscale .. less old world-ish .. more like Recoleta.

Closest to nightlife, food and drink and shopping , I think would be Palermo Soho/Viejo.

It does sound like it encompasses many different boroughs but it really is just one big Palermo broken up into neighborhoods.
