Sheraton Libertador to EZE transfer for 4am flight

Family of 4 with 16 & yr boys, with not so much luggage. Hotel asks for US$80, reasonable? Any other transfer suggestions? Flying from EZE to Lima with LAN. Should we arrive by 2am? or earlier?

Thanks in advance.

You should arrive at Ezeiza by 1:00 a.m. You are required to be at the airport 3 hours before departure time for international flights.

U$S 80 seems a bit steep, but the problem is that most regular cars might not be large enough for 4 passengers plus luggage.

If I were you, I would check with Taxi Ezeiza. They do have Ford Ecosports now (like a 4WD) which take up to 4 persons and 4 pieces of luggage.

They charge 198 pesos from the city to Ezeiza, and that's less than 30 US at today's "blue" rate.

Any radio cab co, Premium, Pidalo, Paris, will have a price of about 220 pesos for a hotel pick up and EZE run. You should ask for a taxi "familiar" which is a larger vehicle, akin to a small SUV like that referenced in verobaires reply above. As noted above it should be able to accommodate your family. The concierge should be able to arrange for such a vehicle from a regular cab co. If he is prohibited from setting it up with a radio cab co, just ask him for the tel numbers and make arrangements yourself.

$80 (650 pesos) is a rip off unless the car is a stretch limo, with wifi, free drinks, and tv.

Ask the hotel how much in pesos. Hotels work on official rate so it is not 650 as the above poster states. It would be around 450 pesos. It is a bir steep, but for 4 people with luggage a normal taxi / car wont do unless you carry luggage on your lap. Most taxis have a very large gas tank on its trunk as they maily run with gas, not petrol wich diminishes space for luggage.
