Transfer from Iguassu Airport (Brazil) to Puerto Iguazu?

We are flying from Lima to Iguassu - This was the only non-stop option... we'd like to either spend one night on the Brazil side and then the next on Argentina side, or do both nights on the Argentina side..

Our flight arrives at 7pm.

Any idea on how feasible this would be/recommendations would be great! We will either pay the fee to fly into Brazil, or the fee to fly into Argentina... so it's kind of a wash, except for the convenience factor of flying non-stop rather than connecting in BA.

The reciprocal fee for Argentina is paid at the airport in Buenos Aires thus requiring no preplanning. The visa fee for Brazil must be obtained prior to entering Brazil and requires preparation at home and communication with your passport at the Brazilian consulate.

If you are planning on visiting the Brazilian side of the Falls for the view then you would need a Brazilian visa thus this might help you in making the decision. If you cross into Argentina via land transport then you do not pay another fee.

Taxi's are readily available at both airports for transport across the border.

I think that this answers your question/

We know about the visas and fees- I am just hoping to get clarification on entering via Brazil and if it makes sense to just get the visa even though we'll be literally getting off the plane and driving to Argentina. Too bad there is not a waiver for people in Brazil less than 1 hour :)

If you enter Brazil via airflight or land crossing then you will need a visa.

Just arrived at Foz and got a taxi into Puerto Iguazu. Very easy. Had to wait about 10 mins at Argentinian customs but the taxi driver sorted it all out for us whilst we waited in the car.
