You will really enjoy the cruise and hopefully see some wildlife. They have had good sightings of eagle and long horn sheep. There is a nice restaurant right where you board the ship where you can sit outside and soak in the sights of the lake and mountains. This is a great area for many large Saguaro cacti.

I would suggest after the cruise you take Bush Highway North towards Rt 87 S. and turn left. Continue oh 87 to Shea Blvd and turn right. Then turn right on Saguaro Blvd and continue to Fountain Park. The World Famous fountain foes off every hour on the hour for 15 minutes. There is a lovely 1.2 mile path all around the lake with very interesting artwork displayed at various places. Have a drink or ice cream at the stores..

Another option is to continue on Bush Hwy back towards Mesa to Usery Mountain Park. Lovely park with many hiking trails. If you are staying in Mesa and have another day then head towards Tortilla flat and have lunch there. The ride down from the town of Goldfield to Tortilla flat is outstanding.

Thanks so much for your help! We wanted to stay out that way so as not to waste the rest of the day.
