My husband and I stayed at the Casa Real last January and loved it. We paid about $80 a night. The room was big and very clean. They has have internet in the rooms.

My husband and I have just returned from a months vacation in Argentina, a week of which was spent in the Salta and Jujuy provences. We spent two nights in the Salta area, specifically in the beautiful town of San Lorenzo which is a 15 minutes drive or local bus ride into the surrounding hills at a great B&B called Casa Hernandez. It is owned by a dutch couple, Alex & Rijkje, who go above and beyond to make your feel most welcome and comfortable. The house is very interesting and the rooms extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. The yard was spacious with a pool and herds of green parrots which nestled in the trees. Breakfasts were outstanding and we had coffee con leche many times through out our visit. What we liked most, however, was the great conversations which we enjoyed with our hosts and also other guests. The price was also extremely reasonable,,$20-30/night depending on the room. Since the driving in Salta was crazy (no one stops at intersections), we chose to park our rental car at Casa Hernandez and took the short ride to Salta by local bus each day which worked out great.
