Skiing in late September at Cerro Cathedral

Do you recommend skiing in Cerro Cathedral in late September? How expensive are local restaurants? What did you like and what did you not like about the resort? What 4-star hotel or apartment do you recommend?

catedral will be open until the last day of september. the thing is, that won't guarantee you snow. you'd be looking at a 80-85% chance of having good snow.

pro: local restaurants will be pricey but a lot less than in peak season. there will be less people. everything is cheaper during september.

cons: the small probability of sub par snow. secondary students from buenos aires and other cities go to bariloche to celebrate finishing school, generally during mid and low season. expect drunken 17 year olds at night at the city center.

if you wanna be sure about snow, less party people and could pay a little more, you could turn your head towards cerro castor. the other one i know is esquel, cheaper but smaller. the no-tourists plus goes for these as well.
