Duty Free

We arrive around midnight on Sunday. Will there be duty free shops open then?Or should we buy it in Sydney.Also are there any food shops to get some snack s to take with us as we wont have a car at Tafua .thanks

Definitely get your duty free in Sydney before you leave. Don't leave it til you get to Samoa, as the duty free is not cheap and it's hardly ever open.

Remember that you can only take ONE bottle of wine or spirits into Samoa, per person. You can take more, but you must declare it and pay the duty on it, which can be expensive.

No, there won't be any food shops open, so take food / snacks with you. There are a few local shops at Lalomanu where you will be able to buy snacks from the next day though.
