Cibola Vista Resort and Spa in Peoria Arizona

Am going to be staying at Cibola Vista in late March 2006. Does anyone have any info about the resort? Is it a nice place or not?

I live right across the street from Cibola Vista - looks like a nice place, but it's awfully small right now...it doesn't appear that any of the big ammenities are done yet, but I could be wrong. I would definitely call them before you get here.

Looks like only phase 1 is opened now. Their website shows selling phase two. When finished this resort is going to have equesterian ranch; hotel; and spa. Not sure about completion date of each. Will be staying there next week and will post a review.

We stayed there last week. It is in its infancy. The stage one pool and hot tub are complete along with a little limlted cafe. They are nice. The rooms are very nice and the personnel are very nice and helpful. You can book any tour you want through them. They have some kind of activity set up each day - welcome party (hotdogs and chili), tour info contintental breakfast, bingo night, Western BBQ, wine tasting night(free and very informative).

Cibola Vista is far north but the freeway system makes it easy to get around. The town is fast surrounding it. There are many nice golf courses within a half hour. We did Trilogy at Vistancia and Legends at Arrowhead and they were both great. We got discount rate through golf602.com.

Lake pleasant is only 10 minutes away and is lovely during the week but crowded on weekends.

Just back from Cibola Vista. Wasn't expecting much since the resort has only been opened a few months. Was pleasantly surprised to find the pool open and a limited cafe (breakfast; lunch and lite dinner options) We stayed in the master bedroom (of the 2 bed room lock off) very nicely furnished--gas fireplace; jacuzi; full kitchen etc. The staff was excellent--very friendly and knowledgeable--reception and concierage. There was something on the schedule every day--welcome BBQ; stargazing night; wine tasting (this was held off site was told that the resort is expecting to obtain their liquor license shortly). We booked our return visit for next year. The only draw back is that the resort is off 99th Ave that is undergoing major expansion construction ie horrible traffic delays. But the staff gave us an alternate route that we used and avoided the traffic.

Very nice resort. It is still small which means great personal service. Activites planned everyday which gives you some great things to do if you don't like to plan. The resort is great it should be fabulous in a couple years when all the amenities are available.
