In the downtown area there is a Hyatt, Wyndham, Springhill Suites and Holiday Inn Express. Further north on or near Central Ave, but with 15 minutes of downtown and on the light rail which can take you downtown, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Fairfield.

I would second a recommendation for the Sheraton Downtown. It is, as mentioned, the newest hotel downtown and close to light rail access and cycle rickshaw transportation (work only for tips - no fees) in that area.

Cooperstown is a popular restaurant in that part of town (Alice Cooper - rock star)

My friend is staying in the Springville Suites right now and really loves them. Includes breakfast. She said it is really great for the money.

I stayed at the Embassy suites in Biltmore for about 90/night. Lightrail from the stadium to the camelback/central station, they have a shuttle that will take you to the hotel.
