Light Rail to Casino

Is it possible to take the rail to a casino? Or at the least take one as far as it will go then take a taxi? Any ideas on the taxi rates in PHX?

I think the closest to the light rail would be Casino Arizona on Loop 101. I haven't been to any of the casinos in the Phoenix area personally though, so I can't tell you if it's any good or not. You take the light rail to the Loop 101 station (almost to its end) and will have to call a taxi from there. It's only a few miles, so it should be under $20 one-way (you pay extra for calling the taxi). For taxi fares, try this: www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Phoenix

You would be better off taking a taxi from whereever you are staying. Casino Arizona is the handiest one to the Phoenix urban area, but between it and the Light Rail station is a major freeway cloverleaf and a partially dry river bed. So it would be nearly impossible to walk between the two.
