2-3 days outside pheonix- where to go?

Hi - staying in Phoenix and have an extra 2-3 days to kill before flung out. If I rent a car- where would u recommend going? Sedona I heard is beautiful... Or the grands canyon? I don't mind staying a different place each night because I've never seen this part of the country :) All advice appreciated!

Do 1 night at the Grand Canyon and 1 night in Sedona. If this is right now, call Grand Canyon lodges for vacancies.

Agreeing. 1 night at GCNP. Call 888-297-2757 and take whatever is available inside the park. Give the rest of your time to Sedona.

I also strongly recommend at least one night at the Grand Canyon.
