There is a lot to do for fun, but Scottsdale doesn't have a large amusement park like Disneyland or Six Flags.

A fun way to get exercise is to hike up Camelback Mtn. At the top, you can see many miles and have a fantastic view of the city. If anyone in your group likes architecture, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's studios (Taliesen West) is near Scottsdale. There is also the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens and Rawhide, which is supposed to look like an 1880s wild west town.

If you have the chance to travel outside of Scottsdale, there are many interesting and beautiful sites to see just a few hours away such as the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Montezuma's Castle and Jerome (a ghost town). You could also go into the mountains east of Phoenix and float down the Salt River in inner tubes. There is also Karchner Caverns and Tombstone (another wild west town with a daily reenactment of a shootout).

If you really want to go to Disneyland, it is perhaps a 6 - 7 hour drive away near Los Angeles, California.

Have an enjoyable trip!

You should go river tubing, www.saltrivertubing.com

Not sure what the age group is but they have a water park called Big Surf, http://tempe.golfland.com/

You can purchase a season pass, good for admission to any of the three parks. If you intend to go several times this year.

I agree, there are several water parks that offer summer passes up until a particular date.

All the theme parks are next door in California.

Alot of shopping and great nightlife in Scottsdale.
