Sedona Summit Resort - noise

I booked 2 nights at the Sedona Summit Resort for this coming Friday and Saturday. I went on a website that said that there is construction and noise there and wondered if any Sedona locals have a comment. Should I change my reservation? I got a really good rate, now I know why!!

Hi Nevadagirl,

When we were there last year they were in the heavy earth moving faze. It was not a bother to us at all. They will be pushy about the time share thing, which you can blow off. We did.

Here is a link to reviews of the properity and no one mentioned the construction: tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g31352-d225514-…

We enjoyed it and would go back.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks, RWDW. I read the Trip Advisor reviews and I am going to call the hotel tomorrow.

I think it would depend on where your room is. We spent a week there just a few weeks ago and we heard no noise but we were at the front of the resort (although the resort isn't very big).

Good idea to call though just to put your mind at ease.

I stayed at Sedona Summit overlooking the construction. I never heard it except when I was outside leaving/entering the condo. Even then it was not obnoxious.
