Jan/Feb too cold?

Thinking of driving from Iowa to spend a month sometime Jan/Feb. It will be warmer than Iowa! We enjoy day hikes and being outdoors. Is this an o.k. time to spend outdoor time in Sedona?

Yes, it's lovely here in the winter and you can hike all day compared to the summer when we have to hide from the heat! You could get a dusting of snow at the higher elevations which are beautiful. If it hits the ground it melts pretty quick and the temperatures aren't that low. Bring layers, as you know, because we are at elevation and the temperatures can change dramatically between the sun and clouds.

Cheers!
