Which B&B

We are planning an Oct. trip to Sedona for 3 nights. Which b&b would you recommend: sedona views, canyon villa inn or sunset chateau? Anyone have opinions? I am getting confused looking at all the websites. Thanks

I'd choose Canyon Villa. Also, check out the TA reviews and member photos. They can sometimes give you more insight than websites can.

You haven't told us anything about yourself other than you're confused. B&Bs in Sedona are all about personal attention and details. Of the 3 you list, I'd choose Canyon Villa, Sedona Views and Sunset Chateau in that order. But there might be others that would be better.

Hard to know though without knowing more about you and your expectations.

It is confusing trying to choose a place to stay based upon internet sites. Are you looking for romance, adventure, etc.? If you share your plans for activities while in Sedona it might help with a recommendation. Thanks for choosing Arizona as your destination.

We are hoping to see the gorgeous views of the Red Rocks, relax in a comfortable spot and go to a few good restaurants. Also may want to take a jeep or other tour. We can not do hiking, but can do some walking. if not too strenuous. We would also like to visit Indian relic sites , if they are accessable without a ton of strenuous walking, and do some gallery or other shopping. ( not a lot) Not important to have kitchen facilities, but would like space and outdoor area. After Sedona we are headed to the Grand Canyon.

In addition to suggestions already made, there are some cabins at Garlands's http://www.garlandslodge.com/

and if a resort isn't out of the question, there are some nice creek side cabins at L'Auberge http://www.lauberge.com/

right by the stream (steps from downtown Sedona - they'll run you up the hill in a golf cart, and you can walk along the stream)

In regards to American Native Indian ruins that can be reached with moderate walking I'd recommend Palatki (nice petroglyphs)

and Tuzigoot

If you prefer views of the red rocks there are new rooms on the hill at L'Auberge that can provide this. The rooms have outdoor showers - very private.

We stayed at Canyon Villa last week and although we have nothing else in Sedona to compare it to, we loved it. The innkeepers were wonderful (and stayed on-site the whole time unlike some others), the breakfasts were delicious and we loved the pool area looking out onto the red rocks.

Thanks for the updates on what you hope to do while in Sedona. to be honest, you can do all of those things from any hotel or B&B. Don't fret about views from your room. Very few rooms will have them. But it doesn't matter. when you walk outside in Sedona the views are EVERYWHERE.

Canyon Villas are VERY nice and owners really are superstars at customer service. Had family stay there a little while ago, and they are still raving!
