Choosing a hotel in Sedona?

We need some advice on choosing a hotel in Sedona. Have been reading reviews, but would like some advice on Sedona hotel locations and easy access to walking to restaurants, shops, and museums.

Has anyone here stayed at an attractive, moderately priced hotel in Sedona which is in a walkable (low traffic) area to the above mentioned?

Thanks in advance for advice.

It's not low traffic but for shopping and restaurants you probably want to stay Uptown.

Here are 2 hotels we liked there:

If you want to walk, you should choose uptown Sedona where the shops are located. There are several to choose from depending on your budget.
