Sedona in March/April

We are a healthy 70 year old couple looking to enjoy Arizona in late March/early April. We think the temps in Sedona look comfortable especially for easy hiking/walking(don't like heat) but we're wondering if that will be too early for the flowering season? Or is it just simply too early to be there.

We're thinking of a 14-18 day trip that might begin around Tuscon and end at the Grand Canyon.

Any advice would be appreciated.

April is one of my favorite months in Sedona. Temps are warming. Still a chance of one last winter storm but rare. Probably too early for wildflowers in Sedona, but good at lower elevations like PHX or Tucson.

I think April is beautiful, but as RedRox mentioned, there is a chance of snow mainly at the higher elevations (like GCNP). We've even had snow here on Easter, but that's unusual. Maybe the best thing to do would be to plan your trip in the second half of April.

Keep watching this forum, and you'll find much more helpful information.
