Christmas Break in Sedona AZ -first time visitors

My husband and I are going to Sedona Arizona Dec. 28-Jan. 5.

Any advice on what to pack for hiking wear - we are not sure of the weather that time of the year.

Also wondering if there are any Christmas/New Year events going on we should check out.

Layers. Nights and early mornings will be chilly. Overnight frost is normal. Overnight snow is possible. Days will warm into the 40s to 60s or maybe even warmer.

Be sure to see the annual festival of lights at Tlaquepaque.

There's a pretty wide range of temps, so I would check the weather a few days before to see what is expected,
