We will be coming from a tour in Monteverde area. Tour over mid-afternoon then drive to hotel. We were wanting to go to Celeste falls the next day & then drive to beach at Tamardino. Is that going to be too much for 1 day.(drive & hike to falls, then drive to Tamarindo). Thanks for the help

If you are wanting to go to the Rio Celeste from Monteverde, drive (I gave you directions in your other post) to Bijagua and spend the night there. You will be very close to the Park for the hike and after the hike you can drive to Tamarindo if you choose to. It will be about 2.5 - 3 hours to Tamarindo.

In Bijagua, Casitas Tenorio, Hotel Los Volcanes, Hotel El Cacao - all newish and very nice. Casitas Tenorio is a working farm with cottages, about 3 km from town, lots of birds and a couple of sloths. The other two are right in town and less expensive and newish and comfortable. All have websites.

To stay somewhere closer to the Park, Celeste Mountain Lodge.
