nerja in november

Is there any one who can advise on Nerja in November.

Is it warm enough to wear shorts and warm enoughh to sunbathe.

Hi Loop

It's pot luck. I was there the first two weeks in November last year.

The first week was shorts a t shirt weather and even sun bathing on the beach. I was swimming. When the sky is cloudless it feels really warm but you don't get sunburnt - nice conditions. However in the evenings it will get dark early and you may need a sweater.

Second week was still warm but not much sun, it can start to feel chilly towards end of the month.

Trouble is the weather is so unpredicatable - 2004 we had two weeks in October and it was very cold and wet. The only thing I would say is that the weather in Nerja is likely to be just about the best in Europe apart from the Canaries. Greece/Italy etc and northern Spain will be much colder. It's just fingers crossed i'm afraid.

Shorts should be fine during the daytime but, as previously said by JCB, you´ll need woolies once the sun goes down.

Generally less rainfall in November than in October that can be very iffy - especially around Nerja Feria time.
