Best hotel to bring a baby to?

I am going to a wedding in Nerja at the end of August and will be bringing my the 12 month old daughter. The wedding party are staying in Marina de Nerja and I cant decide whether to stay there or book another hotel closer to the centre. Any recommendations on what I should do or what is the best baby friendly hotel in Nerja?

I have never stayed in a hotel when mine were little,I found it so much easier to book something self catering. A lot less hassle! It will be hot at the end of August and your own place will be a lot more relaxing .

That would be my advice but I am sure that other members who have stayed in hotels may have more suggestions for you.

I would agree with Sheilamary. There are lots of lovely hostals in Nerja and they might be more suitable. Don't confuse them with a hostel with an 'e', which may have a dorm for umpteen people! They are pretty much hotel standard, without the food. Clean, well run and inexpensive.

I have stayed in the Nerjasol, Casa Manuel and Plaza Cantarero and have never been disappointed. At the Nerjasol, last year, I had an en-suite single room, with kitchen and private terrace. Wonderful!! Have a look on www.booking.com for some ideas.

Marina De Nerja is a lovely hotel right on the beach and is a twenty minute stroll into the town down the beach road. probably a good location but there are many apartments/villa's nearby in Punta Lara or Casablanca. have a look at JJ nerja rentals.

The Marinas is a nice hotel even though a bit out of town, but if others in the party are staying there you will be amongst friends for a good time.

I also agree with Sheliamarie about an apartment in town, but in August they are top price and may only do week or fortnight rentals.

I would not recommend Punta Lara and certainly not Casablanca if you don't have transport, pushing a pram up and down a steep hill will not be enjoyable in the heat of summer.
